Searching for a hotel to stay in the winter, accessibility is a key factor in the decision process because I don’t want to drag my luggages and walk on the snow for a long time. Of course the hotel room, facilities and price are also important. Tokachigawa Hot Spring Dai-ichi Hotel was my pick for the Tokachigawa trip.
It turned out to be a good choice! The bus stopped in front of the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located by Tokachi River, offering nice views from the guest rooms and many of the rest areas. The amenities and services are good. It offers free shuttle bus to Sairinka Festival at night during the event, free shuttle bus back to Obihiro JR Station, and even a bus to Lake Shikaribetsu the next morning!
Tokachikawa is only 20 minutes away by bus from Obihiro JR Station. Great! 巴士站就在十勝川溫泉第一酒店，十分方便！The lobby is spacious. There are free tea for guests in the sitting area. 酒店大堂相當寬躺，旁邊有熱茶免費提供給客人。The best thing about Dai-ichi hotel is the open view the bridge and river. This is the rest area outside of pubic bath. 第一酒店的優點是其開揚的十勝川景觀。這是大浴場外面的休息室。The hotel make very good use of the front view by placing many amenities and facilities facing it. 酒店的設計很好，善用空間把許多客人休息的地方和設施面對其無敵河景。There is also a balcony in the guest room facing the river as well. Nice! 和式房間露台也可以看到十勝川。正！The basic one-night-two-meal package include a buffet dinner and breakfast. 基本的一泊兩食包括自助晚餐和早餐。The buffet restaurant. 自助餐餐廳。There is never short of fresh seafood in Hokkaido. There’s a shop if you want to buy some. 溫泉酒店內的新鮮麵包店很受歡迎，除了在餐廳可以吃到，還可以買回家。You may see the bread made there, too. 麵包店旁邊可以看到新鮮麵包製作過程，增添信心和食慾。Souvenir shop sells all kinds of local products, hot spring goods and snacks. 手信店出售很多不同種類的產品，包括地道小吃、小禮品、溫泉用品等。The Japanese wine bar looks very nice. 日本酒吧十分吸引。During the Tokachigawa Swan Festival Sairinka from January to February, the hotel provides free shuttle bus for guests to visit the site at night. 每年一月至二月於十勝川天鵝祭彩凜華舉行期間，酒店晚上有兩班免費穿梭巴士接送客人到會場，很方便。
