The current main hall of Izumo Taisha stood 24 meters tall and was designated as a National Treasures of Japan in 1952. The three red circles in the front marks an evidence of a remain of an enormous pillar (three cedar trees with a three-meter diameter at its base). This discovery suggested that the legendary 96 meters tall structure building when it first constructed might be possible.
