Jigokudani Monkey Park in Nagano 長野地獄谷猿猴公園

到日本長野玩，必到地獄谷猿猴公園朝聖，因為這是全世界唯一有野生日本獼猴（又稱雪猴）居住的地方。日本獼猴的毛色為灰褐色，臉部為紅色，尾巴很短。在公園內的猿猴已經不怕陌生的遊客，有些更自在地坐在人群中。保持距離不騷擾他們的話，看起來很溫馴。

There is a bus that goes to the Monkey Park from Nagano JR station. It takes about 1 hour. After you are dropped off, you will have to walk about 20 minutes to get to the park entrance.
在長野 JR 站就有巴士直達，車程約一小時。下車後，沿路要走約20分鐘才到達售票處。

The walk through the jungle is very pleasant, with tall trees, valleys and nice scenery.
20分鐘的樹林步道很舒服，兩旁有高大的樹木，沿路有河谷山景，下雪路滑要小心。

Before arriving the park entrance, you will walk pass this Korakukan ryokan with hot spring. It looks like a good feng shui location with river running around it.
到達猿猴公園前會經過這間「後樂館」有溫泉的民宿，被河流圍著，好像很好風水。

There’s steam coming out. A real natural hot spring!
應該是泉眼，有大量的熱蒸氣冒出來，是天然的溫泉！

This is the man-made hot spring pool in the park. Also the main attraction where most tourists crowded up to take photos. Look at how many tourists are taking photo of one monkey?
野猿猴的大景點就是這個人造溫泉。你看有多少個遊客圍著一隻猿猴？

It was not that cold the day I went. There was the only one monkey in the pool.
我去猿猴公園當天不算太冷，溫泉中只有一隻猿猴。

There were a lot of monkeys around, many picking small yellow seeds on the ground to eat.
其實在整個山頭都有很多猿猴，很多都在地上拾一些黃色的小果實吃。

Taking a closer look, this is a mother with a big baby. The baby was playing nearby so she was watching out.
看久一點，原來她附近有一隻大BB在玩，她是一直守護在身邊保護小孩子。

Looking cool but look at the scratches on his face. There’s a price to pay to look so cool.
這麼有型的姿勢，但看清楚滿臉傷痕，要型都要付出代價。

In addition to the man-made pool, you may walk along the river to the lower level where some monkeys hang out.
除了一個人造溫泉，野猿猴公園有自然河流、小瀑布，和天然溫泉的地方。因為到處都有猿猴，可以從樓梯沿河流向下走一點點。

But there are always more tourists than monkeys.
永遠看到的都是許多遊客圍著一隻猿猴拍照。

Many monkeys are used to have tourists around. You should always keep a distance, don’t touch or feed them.
很多猿猴都習慣經常有遊客在身邊，可以近距離拍照。當然要保持一段距離，不要觸摸和餵飼。

Snow monkeys live in the mountain. They are not confined in the park. So if you take a hike and even after you left the park, you may see them.
雪猴住在山上，不是住在公園籠內，所以在周邊行山可能都遇到。
