2016 白川鄉點燈

白川鄉每年冬季由一月中至二月中的其中七天週末日子，都舉行晚上點燈活動，令這個平靜古樸的世界遺產小村落變成繁忙的旅遊熱點，往來的旅客不絕。

白川鄉位於白山，是両白山地最高峰的地方，是日本降雪量最高的地方之一。所以舊村落的房子的屋頂都是斜度很高，使用茅草層疊覆蓋，不容易積雪，形狀如雙掌合十向上，加上建築沒有使用半根釘和其他金屬，為日本的特色鄉間房屋。

2016年的「白川鄉點燈」日子為1月16，23，24，30，31，和2月7及14日。點燈活動日子有特別巴士來回高山及白川鄉，但車票一早已經售罄。想去看點燈要自駕或包的士。如果自駕遊，請提早到白川鄉，因為停車場車位有限。

Shirakawa-go is the largest of the three designated UNESCO world heritage sites (also Ainokura and Suganuma in Gokayama).
白川鄉是被列入世界遺產的三個合掌村落中規模最大的（另外兩個是五箇山和菅沼）。

There are 3 inns and 19 bed-and-breakfasts on the 2016 leaflet. However, almost all of the bed-and-breakfasts are run by the locals who do not have emails. There are phone numbers that you may call to book a room at the official website.
在2016年的單張上列有3間旅館和19間民宿。但大部份民宿都沒有電郵，只可以打電話預定房間。

With increased number of tourists, some of the houses are turned into souvenir shops.
遊客多了，大路上有不少房子變成商店，售賣各種紀念品。

The little wooden Shirakawa-go house is a good souvenir.
可以買間合掌屋回家。

The illumination begins at 5:30pm and finishes at 8:30pm. This photo is only possible when I set up my tripod at around 3:30pm.
下午5:30開始亮燈，至晚上8:00結束。我這個位置可以拍到倒影的，是下午三點多已經佔了一個腳架位置才可以拍到。
