Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route

As one of the Three Holy Mountains in Japan, Mount Tateyama is one of the tallest peaks in the Hida Mountain Area at 3,015m and the only glacier in Japan. Tateyama means “stands out” in Japanese (立山). This outstanding mountain range has the largest and tallest dam in Japan, a unique 20-meter high snow corridor in spring, the magnificent views at different altitude, and the various transportation vehicles make the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route an interesting place to visit and experience in Central Japan.

Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route 立山黑部阿爾卑斯路線 — Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route connects Toyama and Shinano-Omachi. So you may start and end at either point. If you are travelling to another end, it’s better that you have your luggage delivered to your ending destination while you travel through the mountain range.
立山黑部阿爾卑斯路線是可以由富山市玩到長野的信濃大町的。你可以在任何一方開始，走到另一邊。如果要玩足全程不回頭的話，要先把行李托運到你的目的地。

Toyama Station 富山站 — For a one-day trip, you have to start early, say around 7am from Dentetsu Toyama Station.

從富山乘搭電鐵到475米高的立山站約65分鐘，然後轉乘立山斜面電車。

Mikurigaike 御庫裡池 — Murodo at 2,450m above sea level is the highest point of transportation access, you may start hiking from this point up the Mount Tateyama, enjoy the breathtaking scenery, or take a leisure walk on the walking pass. This clear blue Mikurigaike is a highlight of Murodo. You may see a reflection of green mountain range on the pond in the summer.

在日本最高無軌電車站『室堂站』，又名「最近星星的車站」就要買這些「立山星の雫」杏仁朱古力做手信回家。好吃的！

beer from Murodo 星星啤酒 — “Drop of the Stars” beer! Only available at Tateyama. Why not? Since you are taking the JR pass, not driving anyway.
假如你想試試這裡限定的啤酒，這些星星啤酒就不錯。反正你是乘搭鐵路和使用周遊券，不開車就可以。

Postcard from Murodo 室堂名信片 — One more interesting thing to do: send your friends (or yourself) a special postcard made of wood at the post office in Murodo Station.
還有一件特別的事情，就是要在室堂站內的郵局買塊室堂限定的木製立山黑部名信片寄給朋友（或自己）。

Tateyama Tunnel Trolley Bus 立山隧道無軌電車 — Then take this highest altitude trolley bus that goes through Mt Tateyama tunnel.
然後乘搭最高無軌電車過立山隧道。

無軌電車路程約10分鐘便可到達大觀峰。

Daikanbo 大觀峰 — Daikanbo is small station with an observation deck at 2,316m, offering a spectacular mountain view.
大觀峰是一個小小的車站，在2,316米高的展望台可以遠觀立山黑部的山景。拍張照便可以繼續行程。

Tateyama Ropeway 立山纜車 — The ongoing journey is this longest single span ropeway in Japan. It take only 7 minutes to travel through 1.7km from Daikanbo to Kurobedaira. Because there’s no supporting towers along the way, you can take a real good panoramic view of the mountain.
從大觀峰乘搭日本最長的無支柱纜車至黑部坪只需7分鍾，1.7公里的纜車路程無遮無擋，環迴山景進入眼簾。

Kurobedaira 黑部坪 — Kurobedaira is another stop with restaurant and observation view point at 1,828m. If you don’t have the chance to see the ptarmigan (thunderbird in Japanese) which is the special bird in Tateyama, take a photo with this stuffed toy just for fun!
黑部坪位於1828米高，是另一個展望地方，有餐廳。立山黑部有一種特別的雷鳥，如果沒有運氣看到，可以在這個拍照位抱一個公仔影相留念！笑。

Kurobe cable car 黑部斜面電車 — Next, take the Kurobe cable car from Kurobedaira to Kurobeko.
下一站：乘坐黑部斜面電車至黑部湖。

Kurobe Dam 黑部大壩 — Arriving Kurobeko, you may try the boat cruise and walk to the famous Kurobe Dam, the largest arch dam and the tallest one in Japan.
到達黑部湖，可以玩乘船遊湖，或徒步到著名的黑部大壩。黑部大壩是全日本最大的拱形水壩和最高的水壩。

Kurobe Dam 黑部大壩 — The connection to Kanden Tunnel Trolley Bus is up the steep flights of stairs across the dam. From the top, there’s an aerial view of the dam and its surroundings.
要繼續前往扇澤，就要走過大壩到另一邊，爬上幾層斜度很高的樓梯，到達水壩的最高觀景位置。

Kurobe Dam 黑部大壩 — The rainbow at the dam. 水壩上的彩虹。

Bus to Shinano-Omachi 信濃大町巴士 — After the Dam, you will have to take a 16 minutes Kanden Tunnel Trolley Bus to Ogizawa, then catch a bus to Shinano-Omachi which takes about 40 minutes.
黑部水壩後最後兩段路是16分鐘的關店隧道無軌電車和40分鐘巴士到信濃大町。

Shinano-Omachi 信濃大町 — It’s been a long day and a long post. This is a place where you can have your luggage sent from Toyama. Depending on where you stay in Nagano, you can have the luggage sent direct to your hotel.
