Locating very near the Paro International Airport and by the Paro River, Tashi Namgay Resort is surprisingly quiet at night. It is a very good 3-star hotel. There are conference facilities for up to 200 people, guest rooms, suites, a big restaurant, a bar, a gym and spa facilities.

The Tashi Namgay Resort has 58 guest rooms over 5 acres of land. Most of the buildings are traditional Bhutanese style but some facilities and amenities are modern.

The Cottage Deluxe Double Room is very spacious. This is a king size bed. There is a big TV, couch, a pantry and a bathroom with separate bath and shower.

Cottage Twin Room. All cottage rooms are Bhutanese style.

Deluxe Twin Room is more modern. Nice, clean and spacious.

The main restaurant serves buffet style breakfast and dinner.

This was one of my breakfast: pancake, omlette and chicken sausages. Of course there were coffee and tea.

There's a day I missed the lunch time but the restaurant provided a-la-carte lunch for me: Naan bread, pumpkin, mixed vegetables, chicken and chilli & cheese.

There is a bar next to the restaurant where you can get drinks before and after dinner.

The Bay-Yul Spa features message rooms, steam and sauna, a fitness centre and hotstone spa.

 The fitness center (gym) offers weight training, treadmills and stationary bicycles.
