Locating at the top corner of Shiga Kogen ski area, Okushiga Kogen Hotel is in a great position to offer ski-in and ski-out access right from the front room / lounge area. If you need ski lessons, the international ski school is also in a hotel building next door.
There are a 74 hotel rooms that accommodate single, double and family stay. Personally, I prefer a medium-sized hotel with good facilities, nice and quiet restaurants and lounge area.
There are three restaurants: Japanese, French and a Sports bar. The Japanese and French restaurants offer fine dining with nice ambience. The Sports bar offers noodles, rice balls and some skewers at night. In addition, the bar lounge on the first floor is where you can hang out during the day or sit around the fire place at night and enjoy some entertainments. It is also the ski-in ski-out area. Public bath (hot spring) is in the basement of the main building.
While some other hotels nearby also have easy access to the ski lifts, it’s the total package that counts. If you want to enjoy gourmet food, stay in a nice and quiet environment, be close to the ski school, Okushiga Kogen Hotel is a good choice!
如果你是座巴士到「奧志賀高原」，在終點站下車便到達酒店。自駕的泊車在酒店門口，很方便。
從酒吧休息室外面可以看到奧志賀高原酒店的外貌，外型獨特，設計概念是日本著名的白川鄉合掌屋，似曾相識呢？！

滑雪登山吊車就在酒吧休息室門外，名符其實的 ski-in ski-out，不用拿著雪橇穿著雪靴行，方便指數最高。此外，奧志賀高原酒店位於志賀高原滑雪地區的最高點，可以早上最快到達山頂滑下來。
奧志賀高原酒店有單人房、雙人房、三人房、套房。此外，也有不同尺寸的房間以供選擇。房間乾淨舒服。
在日本滑雪最好的是玩完一個冬季戶外活動，可以泡一個暖暖的溫泉。最在奧志賀高原酒店內就有熱湯（溫泉），是男女分開的公共浴場，有開揚的景觀，外面冰冷下著雪，裏面暖烘烘溫泉浴，是一種享受。
奧志賀高原酒店有三間餐廳，這是主餐廳，早餐和法國晚餐都在這裏。
奧志賀高原酒店的日本餐廳。週末或繁忙日子在日本餐廳和法國餐廳晚餐都要在酒店接待處預訂，因為座位有限。
此外，在奧志賀高原酒店斜對面有另一棟建築，有運動吧 (Sports bar)，提供簡餐，晚上是居酒屋形式，有串燒。

酒店的交通：從東京可以乘坐新幹線到長野，再轉巴士或的士，有預約的士比較平宜。有6個人左右，可以考慮直接從東京機場包車到酒店，車程約 4.5 小時。
