At an elevation of 1,000m and with good railway and highway connection, Karuizawa is a popular retreat for the rich and diplomats based in Tokyo when the heat comes in. The beautiful natural environment and nice weather in the summer, making it a wonderful place for wedding ceremony and photography. There are quite a few chapels, churches, and independent venues in such a small city. Even in the Karuizawa New Art Museum, there’s a glass chapel and wedding service.
輕井澤新藝術館位於JR站步行7分鐘的路上，十分方便。
「愛的基因」玻璃雕塑其中一個雕塑在戶外庭園展覽區，這裏也是婚禮進行的場地。
「愛的基因」玻璃雕塑是法國藝術家 Jean-Michel Othoniel 的作品，也是藝術館的長期展覽，很切合婚禮的主題。
戶外的場地有一個全透明玻璃禮堂，以白樺樹裝飾成一個別緻的白色森林。美！
