Embarking a journey to the ghost town in Japan

This 45-minute local train ride between Yonago (米子)and Sakaiminato (境港)is a Japanese mega, GeGeGe no Kitarō-themed train line that takes you to the home of the author. GeGeGe no Kitarō, originally known as Hakaba Kitarō, is a Japanese manga series created in 1960. One of the many popular manga series that was adapted as anime, live action and video games. If you are visiting Kansai (west of Japan), some JR West train pass would cover this line. Please note that this train line only runs hourly, please check t schedule (in Japanese only).

When you step out of the train, you will see more cartoons at the platform all the way to the exit. Everyone spent some time taking photos with every single props before they get out. Take your time because the station staffs are all very patient.
