Walking around snow sculptures, taking pictures, watching laser shows and performances are not enough to keep your children busy? Want a short trip for your children to play with snow and on snow in Sapporo? Tsudome Site is a great choice.
Located just 35 minutes away from Sapporo JR station by bus, Tsudome Site is designed for families with children. There are more games and activities both indoor and outdoor this year. It is the only snow festival venue with a large indoor venue, and has the largest number of sliders in different heights and lengths for children of all ages.
It’s a fun place where your children will have a great time playing snow. From Feb 5 to 18, there are a few days to go. Enjoy it while you are in Sapporo!
The welcome snow sculpture and snowmen by the entrance of Tsudome Site. 圓頂會場的歡迎雪雕，一邊是招財貓，一邊是麵包超人，中間是小雪人。There is a high school snow object competition being held at the event. 18 pieces of 3 cubic meters snow sculptures are on display. A few other snow sculptures are made by the citizens. 每年這裡都舉行中學生的雪雕比賽，今年場內有18座3立方米大小的雪雕是學生作品，另外有幾座雪雕是當地居民的創作。I think this cute sculpture is a sponsored by a noodle company. The sign says “Chicken Ramen” and there was a van giving away free tasting of noodle. 我猜這座可愛的雪雕是有贊助的，黃色橫額寫上「雞拉麵」，現場有不少人在一部餐車前排隊輪候試食。Snow park golf is a new activity in the venue. Equipment costs ¥300 per person. 冰雪高爾夫球是會場的新活動。遊戲用具租金每人¥300.The Snow Zip-line is set up 6 meters high and 80 meters long. ¥1,000 per adult and ¥700 for 4 to 12 years old children. There’s also a weight limit of 100 kg. 這條索道有6米高，80米長。成人每位¥1,000，小童4-12歲每位¥700。還有重量限制不超過100公斤。There are two zip lines but the organisers usually send one person at a time except for friends or families who want to slide together. Very safe! 索道有兩條，除非是要求和朋友或家人一齊滑，否則通常每次只讓一個人滑過去。安全至上！Sliding on bobsled on Waku Waku Sliders. There are two choices of height: 4 meters high x 20 meters long slider, and 8 meters high x 50 meters long slider. Small children can slide with a parent on a bobsled. Waku Waku 雪滑梯有兩個高度和長度選擇：一條是4米高20米長，另一條是8米高50米長。小孩可以與一位家長一齊滑。Snowball Challenger: throw snowballs at the targets but not your friends and families. 雪球大挑戰：向標靶扔雪球（不是向你的家人和朋友扔）。These are the main sliders in Tsudome Site. They are 10 meters high and 100 meters long. And you will ride on rubber tube. 這幾條滑梯是圓頂會場每年的主要雪梯，是坐在橡膠圈玩的。Snow-rafting pulled by a snow mobile. It goes one one big loop of ice and costs ¥600 per adult, ¥400 for children under 12. 雪地飛馳橡皮艇都好好玩，大人每位¥600，小童12歲以下每位¥400。There is snow ground every where. It’s a snow wonderland for children. 場內到處都是雪，對小孩子來講，是一個可以隨處爬、隨處玩的冰雪世界。There is a bamboo ski slope for primary school students and young children. No ski pass is needed but you have to buy a pair of bamboo skis. 小學生或以下的小朋友可以玩竹雪橇，不用買滑雪証但要買一雙竹雪橇。
The bamboo skis are available for sale next to the ski slope. 在滑雪山坡旁邊就有竹雪橇賣。There are four lanes of ice sliders for small children. Parents can slide with the children together on two of the family lanes. Thoughtful! 除了雪滑梯，這裡也有4條冰滑梯，坐下就可以滑下去了，都是給小朋友玩的，其中兩條是親子滑梯，可以與一位家長一起滑。The dedicated area for playing snow on the ground. It’s very busy. 親子堆雪場地，十分繁忙。Mascots are always very popular, cheering up the children. 小朋友看到卡通吉祥物出來都十分興奮，抱著不放手。If you want to take a break or have lunch, you may go inside the Dome. 要休息、食午餐或暖一暖，可以到「圓頂」室內會場，裏面是一個全天候的會場。Three of the inflatable combo sliders are newly introduced in Japan. 室內會場有好幾個充氣滑梯，其中3組是在日本首次亮相。Pikachau inflatable bouncer. 比卡超充氣彈跳組合。The helicopter is one of the most popular games, elevating up to 8 meters above ground to get a panoramic view of the dome. 這直升機很受歡迎，會升到離地 8 米高，可環迴觀看室內場館，難怪那麼多人排隊。There are so many games indoor that you can easily spend another 2-3 hours if you have young children. 室內場館今年多了許多遊戲，有小孩子的話，隨時可以玩 2-3 小時。Hungry? There are food kiosks and dining tables where you can have food and drinks. 室內場館有好幾個飲食攤位，也有用餐地方，絕對不會挨餓。There are performances and programs to keep everyone busy. Of course you will have to understand Japanese to fully enjoy the shows. 雪祭會場到處都有許多節目和活動，完全是玩不完的。
